Mesha James is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who enjoys providing individual therapy sessions to women with a primary focus on those dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss (including anticipatory grief), work-related stress, and family issues. She strives to provide a safe space to allow individuals to emotionally vent and to focus on the current challenges which are negatively impacting their lives. Her approach is client centered, which involves providing both support and strategies to help individuals manage their mental health in a positive and holistic manner. Mesha's therapeutic style includes humor, honest feedback and a heartfelt belief that her clients will be able to get through anything.
Mesha has a Master's in Social Work from the Greater Rochester Collaborative Program of Nazareth College and SUNY Brockport. She has worked for the City of Rochester School District for 16 years.
