Tanya DeNee, LCSW has been providing outpatient therapeutic services since 2013. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Keuka College and her master’s degree in social work from Nazareth College. Tanya primarily works with adolescents and adults providing individual counseling to optimize and draw out the personal wisdom each client has to offer. She specializes in assisting people move through difficult life transitions and challenges, build healthy coping skills, and heal through anxiety, depression, and trauma. Tanya has a warm and playful style and uses a holistic and eclectic approach that incorporates numerous evidence based healing modalities (ie. mindfulness, EFT ect. ) within the CBT, ACT and DBT frameworks.
Tanya has a great love of the natural world and spent 15 years as a professional in the field of conservation and environmental engineering prior to becoming a therapist. She loves to spend time with her family and friends - adventuring both near and far.
